I am a mother, former journalist, daughter, sister, and friend who lives in Portland, Oregon with my son and cat, Annie. But those are just my titles. I am also someone who loves music, I need long hikes to clear my head, I get a release when I am creating. It can be anything from gardening and cooking to writing essays. I obviously hope my writings resonate and illuminate something for you, but in the end I do my writing to get it out of my head and into yours.
